Hey Cuz! We want to celebrate your name!!
We are Name And Culture Media and we produce separate podcasts around popular FIRST or LAST names and provide a support website for each.
Since the word nomenclature is assigning “names to things”, we named our company, Name and Culture to celebrate the culture of names.
Each podcast has a weekly episode. (i.e. The Cuz Wilson Show) There is a host with that name talking about PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS, from the Past to the Present.

(but NO politics, religion, or tru-crime)

Meet your Cuz,
Kenny Wilson

I believe that every name carries a story, a legacy, and a touch of joy that connects us all. I love it when I drive by a street, company, or truck with my name on it, or I hear news of someone that shares my name. I just smile.
Our podcasts are more than just sound; they are a celebration of identity, an invitation to explore the beautiful tapestry of names that have shaped our world, from legendary figures to everyday heroes. Join us as we delve into the history, quirks, and cultural significance of popular names, igniting curiosity and camaraderie while capturing the essence of what it means to belong to a name that resonates.
In 1989, on a mid week morning, I took my son Courtland to a sporting goods store and asked the manager if I could gather up some products with my son’s name to make a Christmas card photo.
In 2005, I wanted to learn more about a new software package for building websites, and the best way to learn all the features is to build a website just for fun. So, I built a site to explore the history of my surname. I was instantly hooked on learning all about the history, products, and places with my name.
Then “Podcasting” became popular and you could take about interesting topics. I figured it is a perfect platform to have some fun sharing Wilsons in history and in the news today.

Name & Culture has its own podcast called “The Cuz Culture Show” which is about names in general, and real people who have funny names, like Teri Kloth, Justin Thyme, Ben Dover, Neil Down, and 100 others.
You’ll learn about visiting 10+ European towns, but never leaving Texas. ( Paris, Dublin, London, Athens, etc. )
We’ll give you a list of the most popular names to see where you rank and how many people in the world are named, “Maria.”

Coming Soon: The Cuz CULTURE Show podcast.
So come along on this joyous journey where names inspire smiles and stories come alive, creating a vibrant community where every name is celebrated.
